The G. E. Business Model as known as the McKinsey Matrix is defined as, “The GE-McKinsey nine-box matrix is a strategy tool that offers a systematic approach for the multi-business corporation to prioritize its investments among its business units”.
Each number is unique so every item may be identified by its assigned code. When used in warehouses and for business purposes, serial numbers keep track of individual units, rather than lots of shipments or production batches. Items organized into lots will share the same number or identification code.
The model number represents a specific type of machine made by a manufacturer while the serial number is specific to your machine. As a parts supplier, we need your machine’s model and serial number to be able to help you find replacement parts that will 100% fit your machine!
Date Codes consist of 4 numbers: The first 2 digits indicate the year the part was manufactured: The first 2 digits indicate the year the part was manufactured. The second 2 digits indicate the week of that year, the part was manufactured.
The date code is in the letters on your serial number. The first two letters on the serial tag give you Month, Year. Date codes First letter is the month and the second letter is the year.
GE considers Monogram to be its premium brand. The Monogram line is more fully featuredand, as a result, more expensive. The brands do share much of the same technology and reliability, however. The best brand for you depends on your style and your budget.

Model numbers can be made up of numbers (101505400, for example) or a combination of letters and numbers (LAT1000AAE). The difference between the two is that the model number is the general number for that specific product. The part number is the specific and unique number to the model.

Clean the igniter with a toothbrush to remove dirt and debris. Gently scrub the surface of the igniter with the toothbrush and softly blow on it when finished to remove the debris. This will facilitate better sparking.
General Electric’s Profile brand has a larger range of products than company’s Monogram brand, though Monogram has a greater depth of appliances available. Monogram products are designed exclusively for use in kitchens, while the products of the Profile brand include washers and dryers.
