How do I fix error code E1 F3?
Error Code: E1 Power unit down by turning off the circuit breaker(s) or unplugging the unit for one (1) minute. Power unit up by turning on the circuit breaker(s) or plugging back in. Monitor the refrigerator for one (1) minute to ensure the error code does not display again. Verify refrigerator operation.
Turn off the breaker in your home’s electrical service panel and leave it off for a full 30 seconds. Then, turn the breaker back on. In addition to resetting your oven, this measure will force your oven to double-check its own diagnosis. If there’s no error in the unit, the error code will disappear after a reset.
Turn the circuit breaker to the OFF position or remove the fuse. Wait one minute, then turn the circuit breaker back to the ON position or install the fuse to reset power to the unit. This should reset the electronic controls on the range or wall oven.
A convection fan will dry out the oven much quicker, so it’s best to bake cookies or bread without the convection on. Most convection ovens have the option to turn the fan on or off, so you can choose the right baking environment.
A properly working control should have a lit-up display and respond to commands. If the display is not lit, test the hot neutral going to the control for 120 volts. If 120VAC +/- 10% is present at the control, the control should be replaced.
F8E0 and F8E2 Cooling fan speed too low or too high Whirlpool started shipping the sensor with the fan. So, to cure the problem, just replace both, and you should be good to go. I think the biggest problem with this error code was how to remove the fan. Some videos show how to remove the top with a gas range.
The F9 error usually means the door switch circuit system is faulty. This can be addressed by checking the door switch itself. If the door switch is dirty or caught in one position, use a damp cloth to wipe the switch clean and then wiggle the switch slightly to make sure the switch moves back and forth.
If the fan in your oven is no longer working altogether or is blowing cold air rather than hot air, it will mean that one of two things are malfunctioning the fan and motor assembly or the heating element by the fan itself.
F8 means that your door latch is stuck somewhere between the open and closed position. Open the oven door and unplug the oven or flip the breaker off for 60 seconds. Re-apply power and then push in the door switch of the oven so it thinks the door is shut.
To remove the code, press pause or cancel button twice and the power button once. If the code is still displayed, unplug the washer or disconnect the power for one minute. Items were detected in the washer during the Clean Washer cycle. Remove items from the drum and restart the Clean Washer cycle.
If F8 E1 or LF (too long to fill) appears in display, it means the washer is taking too long to fill. It’s possible the drain hose extends more than 4.5″ (114 mm) into standpipe. Check plumbing for correct drain hose installation. Use drain hose form and attach securely to drainpipe or tub.
To reset it, just unplug the oven then wait about a minute then plug it back in. This should reset the board and clear any errors that are causing problems (if that is the case).
Press the “Off/Clear’ button for three seconds to turn the “Control Locked” child lock off. Reset the cooking program if “Off/Clear” was pressed accidentally. For example, press the “Defrost” button again, and turn the dial to select the defrost time you want again. Press “Start.”
F3 E1 Error Code Power unit down by turning off the circuit breaker or unplugging for one (1) minute. Power unit up by reconnecting power. Restart a new cycle. Monitor the washer for one (1) minute to ensure the error code does not display again.
