How does GE Advantium work?
OVERVIEW. Bosch has mastered the art of cooking large roasts and poultry dishes with this genuine European convection oven.
120V vs. The key difference comes down to the cooking speed and the interior light heating functionality. In the 240V Advantium model, you’ll find speeds up to 4-8x faster than conventional ovens, including multiple heat functions operating at once.
A speed oven combines the functionality of a convection oven with the speed of a microwave. Due to the combined functions, a speed oven can cook quickly without dehydrating the food like a traditional microwave.
WHAT IS ADVANTIUM TECHNOLOGY? Advantium technology harnesses the power of light. The outside of the food is cooked like a conventional oven, with radiant heat produced by halogen bulbs above and below the food. This halogen-produced heat receives a boost of microwave energy.
A 5-in-1 Oven Advantium ovens offer flexibility as a 5-in-1-oven. Use it as a convection oven, toaster oven, warming/proofing oven, precision cooking oven, and a microwave.
Avoid any metal cookware, utensils, twist ties, etc. DO NOT use the wire rack or metal tray DO NOT use aluminum foil except as directed in the Owner’s Manual. DO NOT use recycled paper products/wax paper, paper products containing nylon, or foam containers.
