Neff is a brand name owned by Bosch, mostly used for their cookers.
These designations simply refer to the size of pan that they can hold in their shelves. Half-size sheet pans are 18″ x 13″, while full-size pans are 26″ x 18″.
The combi-oven can produce a blast of very hot air that browns and crisps the chips. It’s not as quick as cooking chips in a fryer, but the oil content will be slightly lower. However, to achieve the best possible crispness and colour, frozen oven chips, not chips intended for frying, must go into the combi.
Miele is actually a two-family business that has lasted four generations. Carl Miele’s partner was Reinhard Zinkann, and today Markus runs the company alongside Zinkann’s great-grandson, also called Reinhard, with ownership split 51%-49% between the Miele and Zinkann families.
