They both have many of the same features and functions, including steaming, pressure cooking, slow cooking, sauting, and more. The main differences between the two are that the Ninja Foodi comes with an air fryer lid built onto the appliance, and the air fryer lid is sold separately for the Instant Pot.
Is a Ninja air fryer worth it? In my opinion, yes. The Ninja air fryer is worth it if you want tasty food and you want it quickly. However, if you have a large family or cook large quantities of food at a time I would highly recommend investing in the Ninja Max or even the Large Dual Zone air fryer.
Add 2 cups of brown or white rice into your Ninja Foodi. Put pressure cooker lid on (one that isn’t attached) and put steam valve to sealing. Turn pot on, press pressure, leave on High setting, and adjust timing to 2 minutes for white rice or 15 minutes for brown rice.
Pressure cooking I put electric pressure cookers through many of the same tests, and while the Ninja Foodi Deluxe XL Cooker & Air Fryer did better in one test, the Instant Pot Duo Crisp performed better overall.
Yes, an air fryer will save you money. If you switch to cooking from an electric oven to an air fryer, you’ll be using less energy and your bills will subsequently go down.
