Why won’t My Bosch oven heat up?

If your Bosch oven not heating properly results in longer cooking times or underdone food it’s possible the oven thermostat needs recalibrating. Recalibrating your oven can better enable the temperature setting to match the oven’s internal temperature and facilitates more accurate cooking times.

Top/Bottom heating is the most effective setting to use when you are baking or roasting on a single level. The heat is emitted evenly from above and below, making it ideal for baking cakes.

What is 3D HotAir? The oven features a 3D HotAir cooking system which uses the fan to provide an even temperature across all shelf levels. This is great for batch baking, and also means you won’t get any transfer of flavours, allowing you to cook sweet and savoury items at the same time.

Fan forced A fan symbol with a circle around it means the fan will be on with its own heating element. The top and bottom elements won’t be activated. This function will distribute heat evenly in good ovens and allow food to cook food faster and at a lower temperature.

A combi oven or combi microwave is a combination of an oven and microwave. So you only need one device in your kitchen for baking, grilling, and heating.

How does it work? Their specially designed fan wheel will change its direction of spin at regular intervals. This distributes hot air more evenly around the oven.
