The Jenn-Air convection oven is actually a conventional oven that circulates heated air within the oven. As both bake and broil heating elements cycle on and off with the thermostat, a fan keeps the heated air circulating around the food.
Model and serial numbers for single and double ovens are located under the control panel, and for combination ovens, the model and serial number are located near the center vent of the lower oven.
Using the Air Fry Feature on Jenn-Air Range or Oven Convection fans will circulate hot air very quickly around the surface of the food, which will, in turn, crisp it up to a delicious, golden crust. Depending on the model of your Jenn-Air range or oven, you can access this feature in two different ways; 1.
The Sabbath Mode sets the oven to remain on in a bake setting until turned off. When the Sabbath Mode is set, only the Bake cycle will operate. All other cooking and cleaning cycles are disabled. No tones will sound, and the display(s) will not indicate temperature changes.
Broiling uses direct radiant heat to cook food Start with the bottom position. The top rack position will sear the outside rapidly, while the inside will be rare. Center the broiler pan on the rack. Use tongs to turn food to avoid the loss of juices.
Door is locked when starting or using the oven Turn the power off at the circuit breaker or fuse box for one minute, then turn the power back on. Allow the oven to cool, approximately 30-90 minutes, move the latch arm to the left to unlock the door.
The model and serial numbers are located either behind the storage drawer on the right side of the oven frame or on the right side of the bottom oven frame.
Removable grease filter Turn off the downdraft ventilation system before removing the filter. Remove vent grate then lift the filter out of the vent chamber. Clean the filter in the sink with warm water and detergent or in the dishwasher.
