We would recommend any branded products that say that they are microwave safe. If there are any persistent stains or baked on splashes, you can use either a liquid cream cleanser or a cold oven cleaner.
Steam cleaning a microwave with white vinegar gets the job done with minimal effort. This is because white vinegar is very acidic, making it a great natural cleaning product. The acidity means it can tackle microwave dirt and grime easily.
The GREASE Filter is installed on the bottom of the Microwave! Installation Instructions Are NOT Included With This Part! Please Refer To The User Manual That Accompanied Your Microwave For Installation Instructions!
Do NOT use any oven cleaners or related products. The caustic chemicals will often leave a harsh residue and can even ruin the surface of the stainless steel. Never use abrasive sponges, scouring pads, or steel wool. You should only use soft, non-abrasive cloths on your stainless-steel appliances.
Activate the oven’s self-cleaning cycle. Program your oven to the desired time and temperature setting. Make sure the oven door is completely shut and locked before initiating the cleaning process. Otherwise, heat and noxious fumes may escape into your kitchen and spread through the rest of your home.
Baking soda makes a great stainless steel sink cleaner because it is abrasive enough to scrub away light hard water deposits and stuck-on grease and food, but not so abrasive as to scratch shiny stainless steel fixtures like faucets. Try cleaning your sink with a paste of baking soda and water.
For spot cleaning, spray the Easy-Off heavy duty oven cleaner in a cold convection oven at least 9 to 12 inches from the surface. According to Easy-Off, you can turn the oven on to 200 degrees, and then turn it off before spraying for a deeper clean of the oven.
Fortunately, you can clean a microwave with the everyday cleaning products you already have in your house, including all-purpose cleaner, baking soda, dish soap or vinegar (white or apple cider).
Add around a tablespoon of vinegar for every cup of water and place it carefully in your microwave, heat for around three minutes and when done leave the door firmly closed for another five, again this will allow extra time for the steam to work its magic, loosening all the stubborn stains inside.
Never leave stainless steel to soak in solutions that contain chlorine, vinegar, or table salt, as long-term exposure to these can damage it.
