What is an OTG Oven? An Oven, Toaster, Grill (OTG) is essentially a smaller version of a traditional oven. It uses heated coils to cook meals and requires much less setting up. The thermostat present in the OTGs helps control the temperature, ensuring the food is cooked or heated properly.
A convection oven works by circulating hot air around the oven’s cavity, helping food to cook faster and more evenly. It does this with the help of a fan and exhaust system that blows hot air around the food.
Over-the-range microwaves install above your range or cooktop in place of a range hood. They function like countertop microwaves, but also eliminate smoke, steam and cooking odors through a built-in ventilation system.
A microwave oven utilises microwaves alone for heating the food, so it takes a longer time for the food to be cooked. A convection oven’s special feature is a fan that constantly circulates hot air around the food, so it cooks faster and browns evenly than a microwave at a lower temperature.
OTG (oven, toaster, griller) and microwave ovens have several similar functions. Both appliances are useful for baking and toasting. However, the two appliances aren’t the same.
One type of convection oven is a True convection oven. True convection, also called European convection or third-element convection, adds a third heating element in addition to the fan. With True convection, your dishes not only cook more evenly when using multiple racks, but may even cook faster.
Compared to other types of microwaves that use power surges through a transformer, an inverter microwave oven is more energy efficient. The inverter’s constant power level provides the exact voltage required to the cooking chamber to make your food warm.
