The EasyClean programme on the other hand is a quick and easy option for day to day maintenance of your appliance. It is a shorter programme, designed to make cleaning easier by softening dirt and grease through vapour. We recommend pairing with soapy water for best results.

Is a pyrolytic oven safe? As modern pyrolytic ovens heat to temperatures of up to 500 degrees Celsius, they’re designed to be very safe for you to use. Most pyrolytic ovens are manufactured with many additional layers of insulation, which ensures any residual heat is contained.
The cycle takes from one and a half hours to three hours, depending upon the amount of soil. A slight odor may be detected the first few times the oven is cleaned. No commercial oven cleaner or oven liner of any kind should be used in or around any part the of the self-clean oven.
