Caf is a luxury brand that was launched by GE Appliances (GEA) in 2018 for high-end kitchen appliances.

Three U.S. GEA manufacturing plants, two in Kentucky and one in Lafayette, Georgia, will make Caf cooking products, dishwashers and refrigerators. The collection will have a full suite of appliances, including: Wall ovens, ranges, cooktops, French door refrigerators, dishwashers and vent hoods.

Product Use. A major difference between the Profile and Monogram brands is the intended use of the products. Profile appliances are designed and built exclusively for in-home use. The Monogram brand, however, has products designed and manufactured for both domestic and professional-use products.

The biggest difference between GE Profile and Caf refrigerators are in the design, finish, and style. The Profile line has a sleeker, more minimalistic look, while the Caf choices are modeled more after restaurant-grade appliances.

The complete first series of The Caf was set to be released in 2013 to coincide with series two’s television airing. However, in August 2014 it was decided that the release would be cancelled indefinitely due to poor ratings.
