Teflon-coated pans can be used in convection ovens. Lightweight pans made of aluminum or metal work best in convection ovens. Materials that are not good heat conductors, like glass and cast iron, are not able to cook the food as rapidly and may leave cold spots.
The KitchenAid microwave reset process is fairly simple. Push the cancel/off button to clear the display. The error code should disappear. If call service or other code pops up, then remove power from the unit for one minute to reset the machine.
Verify the power cord is connected to a grounded, operational outlet. Check the outlet. If you are unaware if it’s working, plug in a household lamp or other small appliance to verify that the outlet is working. Check to see if a household circuit breaker has tripped or if the household fuse has been blown.
Bake the cookies in the convection microwave oven for 8 to 10 minutes, until they are a golden-brown color. Allow the cookies to cool completely before serving.

The thermal fuse cuts off power to the microwave if the microwave overheats. To determine if the thermal fuse has blown, use a multimeter to test it for continuity. If the fuse does not have continuity, replace it. The thermal fuse cannot be resetif the fuse is blown, it must be replaced.
Be Sparing With Long Cooks Most microwaves can tolerate a cooking time of up to 60 minutes, so your 30 minute plans should be fine. Just be aware that this puts the magnetron in your microwave under an immense amount of strain. This might shorten the overall lifespan of your appliance.
Tip: Using the convection setting on your oven will bake the bacon more quickly and evenly by circulating the hot air around the oven making it even more perfectly crispy.
Baking with convection yields a rounded, taller cookie with a crisp exterior. Even heat created by the air circulating in convection yields the irresistible combination of crunchy and gooey and some say it’s the secret to the perfect cookie. But, if you prefer a softer, chewy cookie, use Bake mode without convection.

The risk, however, is that if you open the door while the microwave is running, you are destructively interrupting the power circuit. This can cause damage to your microwave oven over time, albeit it may take years to render the unit inoperable.
