Start by spreading a baking-soda-and-water paste over the opened oven door. Let it sit for 15 minutes, then wipe it off completely. Use a razor blade to scrape off stubborn bits of baked-on grease. If grime remains, you may have to resort to a chemical cleaner.
There are several ways you can clean your oven with steam. One way is by using a steam cleaner on your oven. If you don’t have a steam cleaner, turn the temperature of your oven to 232C (450F) and place an oven-safe pot filled with water inside. Wait 30-60 minutes for the steam to loosen the oven’s dirt and grease.
In your oven, the rear wall, sides and ceiling are coated with a patented porous, matte ceramic material to make them self-cleaning surfaces. This coating absorbs and breaks down splashes from grilling, baking and roasting while the oven is in operation.
Vinegar and Baking Soda Dip a cloth or sponge into the mixture and wipe it over the whole inside of the microwave. Next, pour equal parts of water and white vinegar into a microwave-safe bowl. Place the bowl in the microwave and run it for three minutes on high power, or until the water boils vigorously.
You can clean your microwave by microwaving a cup of water for 2 to 5 minutes to steam the interior and release stuck-on food. Add vinegar, lemon or baking soda to the water if you want extra deodorizing action. Then, just wipe it down.
Steam cleaning is a much quicker, less smelly method of automatically cleaning your oven. Some steam cleaning ovens clean in as little as 20 to 30 minutes, which is more cost-effective than a self-cleaning oven. Because steam cleaning ovens only reach 250 degrees F during cleaning, they don’t get very hot to the touch.
Fortunately, you can clean a microwave with the everyday cleaning products you already have in your house, including all-purpose cleaner, baking soda, dish soap or vinegar (white or apple cider).
Press the tab down on the right side of the drawer and lift tab up on the left side of the drawer at the same time. Then pull drawer out another inch to disengage latch.
To clean your microwave without vinegar, you can always go with the traditional method: dish soap and water. I use this Dawn dish Soap from Amazon to clean mine. Squirt a small amount of soap on the affected area, let it sit for a few minutes, and then scrub away!
Do not use on microwave, convection, or continuous-cleaning ovens.
