An electric oven not heating up can often be attributed to a defective bake element. This Whirlpool oven heating element is a metal coil located at the bottom of electric ovens. When you turn on the oven, wires inside the coil receive electrical current that heats the metal, providing the heat you need to cook food.
To view temperature in degrees Celsius, press the LIGHT button, under Units, when adjust mode is activated. To return the display setting to Fahrenheit, press the LIGHT button again. When Temperature mode is activated, press TEMP to toggle between Fridge and Freezer.
Within 2 minutes after power up, press and hold {Refrigerator Temp and Freezer Temp keys} for 5 seconds. To Exit Showroom Mode: Press and hold {Refrigerator Temp and Freezer Temp keys} for 5 seconds.
If the thermal fuse does not have continuity, replace it. The thermal fuse cannot be resetif the fuse has blown, it must be replaced. One of the wires that supply power to the oven element or igniter might be burnt out. These wires commonly burn out near the heat source.

To turn cooling off, press and hold the SMART GRID and FILTER buttons at the same time for 3 seconds.
But because the majority of baking projects usually happen between 350F and 375F, 20 minutes is a good average time to get your oven up to speed.
